I launched the “Classical Nerd” channel on YouTube in January 2016 with the goal of curating an online resource that would be entertaining and informative to musicians and non-musicians, and to help music educators do their jobs through concise online mini-lectures and documentaries (especially in the service of helping auditory learners).  New videos are posted to the channel every Thursday.

Classical Nerd is a very audience-driven channel and I receive far, far more requests than I can fulfill on a once-a-week production schedule.  I keep a running list of requests in a “request pool,” where I keep track of individual requests and so more popularly requested subjects may rise to the top.  (These requests are tracked through the parenthetical numbers.)  While I am more than happy to add any subject to the pool, I would prefer if people “voted up” subjects that they want to see tackled sooner, as videos with only one individual request are on the lowest priority and may not be made for several years.

If you would like to support the channel, please consider purchasing music through my Bandcamp page, as all proceeds from online sales go to bettering its production quality.
